Application Scientist – Test & Measurement

• Provide expert application support to customers across the US using Zurich Instruments' test and measurement instruments, including lock-in amplifiers, impedance analyzers, and arbitrary waveform generators
• Conduct onsite system integration, demonstrations, and training at customer laboratories
• Build and maintain customer relationships to support sales growth and retention
• Represent Zurich Instruments at trade shows, conferences, and academic events across the US
• Collaborate with global sales and product teams to relay customer feedback and application insights
• Produce technical content, including application notes, presentations, product documentation, and demonstration videos
• Develop commercial skills in a role combining technical work with customer-facing impact

• PhD or Master's in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related experimental science with hands-on lab experience
• Solid practical experience with dynamic signal measurement
• Familiarity with lock-in detection, impedance spectroscopy, or waveform generation is a strong plus
• Comfortable with scientific programming, ideally Python, for instrument control and data analysis
• Strong communication skills for explaining complex technical concepts to academic and industrial audiences
• Customer-oriented mindset and interest in building relationships and developing commercial skills
• Self-driven and proactive
• Comfortable working independently across a large territory
• Legally authorized to work in the USA

Demonstrates expertise in application support for test and measurement instruments, with strong skills in dynamic signal measurement and scientific programming. Capable of building customer relationships and producing technical content to enhance sales growth and retention.
