We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in culinary arts and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in meal preparation, food handling, and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently.

Duties
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and marinating ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including workstations and cooking equipment.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Handle food safely while adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in menu planning and contribute creative ideas for new dishes.
  • Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
  • Ensure all dishes are plated attractively and served at the correct temperature.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within the culinary field.
  • Strong knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in meal preparation techniques, including knife skills and cooking methods.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a busy kitchen environment.
  • A passion for cooking and catering, with an eagerness to learn and grow within the culinary arts.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
