L A P A D R O N A – Boston’s highly awarded & Michelin recommended Italian restaurant, is seeking a passionate, organized and focused Sous Chef to join our Hospitality Group. La Padrona has brought a new standard to Boston’s restaurant scene, immersing our guests in the very best of Italian hospitality and authentic, regional cuisine.

This is a full-time, salaried position. In addition to a track record of excellent performance and executing a consistent service you will need a willingness to learn, to adapt and a positive attitude.

2-3 Years of consistent high-level kitchen management experience required for consideration. Strong preference for candidates who have worked in High volume, high revenue settings (10 + million). A deep familiarity with Italian culture and cuisine is a plus.

Job Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef at La Padrona, you will oversee all operations at your store and are responsible for the success and growth of the restaurant. You are responsible for the supervision of Back of House staff. You will work under the Executive Chef, and Chef de Cuisine. You are expected to grow the business, enhance the brand and push your staff to deliver excellent hospitality.

A passion for amazing food and genuine hospitality are an absolute must. The Sous, will be expected to perform operational duties including inventory, scheduling, planning & organizing, enforcement of food safety protocols, ensure excellent food quality, and development of their teams.

You should have strong communication skills and be able to adhere and follow through with all company policies and procedures.
