Since 1976, The Ice Cream smith has been a Dorchester institution—nearly 50 years of making ice cream from scratch using whole ingredients and time-tested recipes. We’re still family-owned across multiple generations, and that’s shaped how we do business.

We make ice cream the right way: small batches, on-site, from production to scoop in as little as 24 hours. And we treat our team the same way—with intention and care.
