We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seafood Back of the House team member to join our kitchen staff in Roxbury, MA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of seafood, ensuring quality and consistency in every dish. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential to uphold our high standards of food safety and kitchen efficiency.
Responsibilities- Cut and clean various types of fish, including tuna and fish steaks, according to customer specifications
- Ensure all seafood is handled safely and stored properly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Experience working in a seafood back of the house or similar kitchen environment.
- Ability to prepare and cut various types of seafood with precision and care.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and organization.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
