Retail Merchandiser - Traveling

As a Retail Merchandising Specialist, you’ll play a key role in transforming our store layouts—turning shelves into standout showcases that drive sales and elevate the customer experience. If you’re hands‑on, detail‑oriented, and love seeing the results of your work in real‑time, this is the role for you.

• Travel to store locations across New England and the Northeast to support remodels, resets, and special projects
• Safely build, reposition, and dismantle shelving, beams, and displays
• Relocate or adjust inventory and product placement as needed
• Apply new pricing labels and signage in alignment with store updates
• Follow plan‑o‑grams and written/verbal instructions to execute flawless merchandising
• Ensure visual consistency and adherence to company merchandising standards

• Willingness to travel extensively throughout the Northeast, including overnight stays, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior experience with retail merchandising and planogram/schematic execution, including building and relocating steel racking, fixtures, and beams
• Comfortable using basic hand tools and assembling fixtures safely
• Proficient with smartphones and modern technology—used for communication, scheduling, and project documentation
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required
• Dependable and punctual—arrives to shifts on time, follows safety procedures, and adheres to company policies
• Strong communication skills—able to read and respond to email communications in a timely manner
• Demonstrates a professional, team‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills when working with both team members and store staff
• Must be comfortable working in an animal‑friendly environment (accommodations available upon request)

• Pay ranging from $19.00 to $22.00 per hour
• Weekly travel stipend plus mileage and company paid travel expenses.
