Gift Shop Lead in Boston!
Onsite in Boston Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm. Pay Rate $25-$26 per hour.
About the RoleWe are seeking a compassionate, customer-focused Gift Shop Lead to support daily store operations in a mission-driven, healthcare-focused environment. This role blends retail, service, and purpose—creating a welcoming experience for patients, families, and the community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide warm, attentive customer service
- Support sales through thoughtful product recommendations
- Oversee daily operations (opening/closing, staffing support)
- Manage inventory, restocking, and merchandising
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting store
- Update and manage e-commerce product listings
- Track sales trends and support reporting
- Assist with basic financial reconciliation
- 2+ years of retail or customer‑facing experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast‑paced environment
- Experience with POS systems and Microsoft Office preferred
- Healthcare or patient‑facing experience is a plus
