Boutique Assistant Manager

As Assistant Boutique Manager at La Maison du Chocolat, you play a key role in the day‑to‑day running of the boutique. Working closely with the Boutique Manager, you help lead the team, drive sales performance, and ensure every client experience lives up to our standards. This is a hands‑on role for someone who's equally comfortable on the floor with clients and behind the scenes keeping operations running smoothly.

• Team & People
  • Support the recruitment, onboarding and training of sales associates
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching
  • Step in as acting manager in the Boutique Manager's absence
  • Foster a positive, motivated team environment
• Sales & Client Experience
  • Drive the team to meet monthly and annual sales targets
  • Lead by example on the floor to deliver a top-tier client experience
  • Build and develop client loyalty, including corporate accounts
  • Track KPIs: NPS score, average basket, loyalty program enrollment
• Operations
  • Oversee daily sales reporting and payment processing accuracy
  • Manage inventory and minimize out-of-stock and waste
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and brand standards
  • Support the Boutique Manager in optimizing boutique processes

• Previous experience in retail management or a supervisory role, ideally in luxury or food & beverage
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Client-facing excellence and a natural ease in high-end environments
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for gastronomy and/or chocolate is a genuine plus
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and some holidays

Non-Exempt

$18.50-$20 hourly rate. We will consider various factors such as relevant work experience, key skills, education, and training. We offer Health, Dental, and Vision benefits, Paid Time Off, and 401k.
