The Starting Hourly Rate / Salario por Hora Inicial is $18.75 USD per hour. The Pay Range / Rango salarial is $18.75 USD - $28.15 USD per hour.

ALL ABOUT ON DEMAND

You can work as much or as little as you like as an On-Demand Team Member (TM) and your schedule may vary depending on shift availability and store needs. This role is ideal for those that are looking for a personalized work schedule.

As an On-Demand TM you will not be included on the posted weekly schedule, but you will have the opportunity to create your own schedule by picking up shifts posted by leaders or other team members (via our myTime mobile scheduling app) that work best with your schedule.

When you choose to pick up a shift, reliable and prompt attendance is necessary. We also require active engagement by picking up and working shifts at least once every 4 weeks (minimum of four hours). Flexibility can be granted in certain circumstances, but you are required to respond to our contact attempts to confirm interest in shifts. If you do not respond, employment may be terminated.

If you do not work at least one shift within 5 months, your employment may be administratively terminated. Your communication and ability to work when our business demands it are critical to success in this role.

Should you be offered a position as an On-Demand TM, you will be required to attend a Target Welcome orientation and commit to a short-term structured training schedule. After that, the myTime mobile scheduling app is where you can pick up the shifts you desire to work.

ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS

We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is proficient in service, operations, process and efficiency, and is responsible for cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy. You’ll provide exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

The Role Of a Small Format Team Member can provide the skills and experience of:

  • Guest service fundamentals and building a guest-first culture across the store
  • Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process improvement
  • Supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Create a welcoming experience as you complete daily tasks
  • Engage with guests to help solve their needs
  • Thank guests for shopping with Target
  • Know tools, products, and store services to solve issues and improve guest experience
  • Assist with workload with minimal guest disruption
  • Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned and in stock
  • Assist with truck unload and backstock
  • Execute transitions and signage accuracy across departments
  • Complete weekly price changes and ensure signing accuracy
  • Perform inventory scans and audits for accuracy
  • Support major transitions and maintain store cleanliness and safety
  • Assist with back-up cashier duties and order pickup or drive-up as needed
  • Maintain compliance with safety policies and laws
  • Other duties based on business needs
