ALL ABOUT SMALL FORMATS:
We enable a consistent experience for our guests by ensuring product is in stock, available, accurately priced and signed on the sales floor in our smallest format stores. This team is responsible for cashiering, stocking, presentation and price accuracy, and for providing exceptional guest service, customizing each experience and anticipating guest needs.

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first culture across the store
• Retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, pricing and promotion strategies, inventory management, and process efficiency & improvement
• Supporting daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals

• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs when they need assistance
• Thank guests and acknowledge their visit to Target
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store and in your area to solve guest issues and improve their experience
• Assist with workload with minimal guest disruption
• Work in all departments to ensure the sales floor is full, zoned and in stock
• Assist with truck unload and stock product to the sales floor
• Make changes to sales floor merchandise displays and other departments
• Conduct weekly price change workload and ensure signage for regular and promotional pricing is accurate
• Complete scans and system audit functions to ensure inventory accuracy
• Support execution of major transitions
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety (interior/exterior), handle maintenance tasks as needed
• Accurately execute all fills and organize/store reserve product from all departments
• Process inbound deliveries (using receive application) to ensure inventory accuracy
• Complete backroom daily and weekly audits
• If certified, operate powered equipment to move merchandise on the sales floor and in the backroom
• Maintain backroom organization and follow equipment guidelines
• Follow processes with attention to detail, monitor progress and prioritize tasks
• Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
• Work safely at all times; comply with safety policies and training; report hazards and correct where possible
• Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick up (OPU) and Drive-up (DU) and maintain compliance with laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and team members
• Ability to communicate on multiple devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology
• Work both independently and with a team
• Resolve guest questions immediately
• Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
• Ability to stay focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

• Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
• Climb ladders when required
• Scan, move and stock merchandise safely, including lifting operations (up to 15 pounds frequently, up to 44 pounds occasionally)
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends, holidays); reliable attendance
• Work in varying temperatures and environments (e.g., Drive-Up, carryout)
• Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shift
