As a Field Merchandiser, you will work independently to showcase organization and time‑management skills, establish retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations as needed. Occasionally you may work with other products from other companies in the stores you service.
SALARYAND SCHEDULE DETAILS
- Your starting hourly pay rate will be $18.50 to $20.50 per hour, depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

- This is a Part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.

. - Availability the week before and after major holidays, which may include weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role consists of three major components:
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, you will restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products inside and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for daily tasks, communication with your supervisor, time reporting, feedback, and survey completion. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management, and customers is essential.
- Holiday support: Additional days and extended hours are expected leading up to and following holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. You may be required to work on the actual holiday itself, including weekends.
- Department resets: Occasionally you will join a team responsible for installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments, and resetting card sections. Assignments are notified at least two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
- One Team Vision: You are part of Hallmark’s field organization and will support other team members as needed in their territories.
This is a physically demanding job that requires high energy and a sense of urgency. You will work on the selling floor and in back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds, and up to 50 pounds on occasion. You must kneel, squat, walk, and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BASICQUALIFICATIONS
- You are at least 18 years of age.
- You can read, write, and understand English.
- You can grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
- You can operate a digital hand‑held device to open and read documents and interpret information.
- You have access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- You have reliable transportation to travel to and between assigned stores as scheduled.
Part‑time employees with a work schedule of less than 30 hours have access to voluntary benefits, including dental, vision, critical illness, accident insurance, hospital indemnity, and minimum essential coverage (preventive care).
