Temporary Store Director - Copley Place

Summary

Temporary Store Director responsible for driving sales, KPIs, and brand engagement for the Boston Copley Place store. Leads and develops the store team, ensures exceptional clienteling particularly with VICs and VIPs, and maintains brand image and visual standards. Oversees daily operations, compliance with HQ processes, and initiatives to maximize store performance.

• Define, execute, and monitor the store action plan to achieve sales targets and KPIs
• Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly results and implement corrective actions
• Recruit, coach, develop, and retain store management and teams; conduct regular appraisals
• Drive clienteling, VIP engagement, and customer experience standards
• Oversee payroll, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, petty cash reconciliation
• Supervise inventory and warehouse stock, ensure product safety and report discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security, HR and retail excellence guidelines
• Maintain store presentation according to VM guidelines and protect company assets

• 3-5 years of successful managerial experience in luxury retail, managing ~20+ people
• Proven leadership and talent development skills with an inclusive coaching approach
• Strong client focus with ability to engage VIPs and high-net-worth clients
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, analytical and decision-making skills
• High availability, responsiveness, digital competency and fashion/product sensitivity
