Job Summary

- Partner with Buying, Consumer Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Site Merchandising, and Brand Marketing.
- Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Insights/Analytics teams.
- Use quantitative and qualitative metrics on sales, inventory, and consumer behavior.
- Report to the Buying Director.
- Build and execute seasonal digital assortments that meet consumer demand.
- Coordinate across genders and brands and manage product and collection interactions.
- Align assortment plans with market position and competitive landscape.
- Participate in seasonal buy reviews and in‑season trading to optimize results.
- Own 50% of the Women’s Sportswear Footwear business, including Classics and Solar.
- Maintain accurate, consumer‑right assortments using data, analytics, and market feedback.
- Translate strategy into action with clear plans and timelines.
- Demonstrated retail competence and analytical strength.
- Consumer‑obsessed mindset with strong product affinity.
- Ability to lead and elevate team performance in a collaborative environment.
- Strong decision‑making, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, experience, and training.
- 2–4 years of experience in footwear buying, merchandising, product creation, or retail in a vertical, multi‑brand, or digital environment.
- Experience with footwear, apparel, equipment, or related consumer products.
- Understanding of retail and digital KPIs, including sell‑through, turn, ASP, and UPT.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Specific experience in footwear buying or merchandising.
- Knowledge of current trends for women, sport, and style leadership in the marketplace.
- Strong retail acumen and fashion trend awareness.
- Customer‑facing presentation experience.
- Bring seasonal assortments to life on digital platforms.
- Collaborate across teams to ensure plans meet strategy and demand.
- Use in‑season read‑and‑react to drive selling and inventory decisions.
- Influence partners through seasonal reviews and performance insights.
- Manage assigned categories to deliver sales, margin, and inventory targets.
- Role type: On‑site at WHQ with WFH Fridays.
- Coverage: Maternity leave assignment.
- Team: Core team of about eight, plus cross‑functional partners.
- Interview process: Two rounds, primarily behavioral, focused on past experience.
- Expectation: Candidates should be familiar with current site and store experience.
