Licensed Assistant Manager (Boston, MA) – Ray‑Ban – Sign‑On Bonus General Function
The Assistant Store Manager assists in leading the store to success by developing a team that consistently delivers the Luxury Retail Signature Experience, exceeding expectations in financial results, customer and associate satisfaction, merchandise presentation, public relations/events, asset protection, and quality Rx delivery.
Major Duties and Responsibilities- Ensures the Luxury Retail point-of-view is well presented when communicating with the media.
- Monitors all sales and operations activities of the store to ensure operating income and sales objectives are met.
- Assists in recruiting and hiring superior talent with experience in a luxury service environment.
- Develops associates by providing clear, motivating and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner.
- Accurately staffs the store to consistently deliver gracious customer service and meet sales goals.
- Creates an environment that encourages the development of managers and associates; provides challenging assignments and opportunities for management development.
- Recognizes associates for their performance and service.
- Maintains extremely high standards of presentation and service.
- Continuously drives the business by analyzing key financial data, monitoring operating efficiencies and identifying business trends/opportunities. Sets aggressive action plans.
- Exemplifies Luxottica Retail vision, mission and values; celebrates wins; leads by example.
- Expertly guides customers in selecting frames and lenses that are best suited for their lifestyle, wardrobe, RX and price needs.
- Demonstrates flawless accuracy in taking and recording measurements, adjusting and fitting eyewear, and execution of all details.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State licensure (if applicable) and/or ABO Certification in non‑licensed
- 1+ years Optical experience
- Effective oral and written communication
- Polished appearance and public communication skills

- Flexibility to work non‑traditional hours including evenings and weekends
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1+ years management experience in the luxury service industry
- Previous Experience in a Production Environment
- Previous Management Experience
Pay Range: $34.61 – $43.01 per hour
This position may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan and a total rewards package that may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
