P/T Cashiers - Boston, MA (177 State Street)

Part-time position with Tedeschi Food Shops.

Hourly, typically less than 5 days per week.

• Customer oriented; prioritize customer service.
• Operate cash register, lottery machine, money order machine, EBT machine, and credit card machines.
• Follow company rules, attendance and appearance policies, and safety rules.
• Stock and replenish shelves and coolers as needed.
• Maintain clean and well‑stocked coffee and beverage center.
• Ensure age‑restricted items are sold in compliance with law and company policy.
• Complete all duties assigned by management.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of retail experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities and complete tasks.
• Decision‑making ability with frequent consultation with supervisor.
• Problem‑solving skills applicable to routine and complex problems.
• Ability to lift up to 10 pounds regularly, up to 25 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
