Area Sales Manager

We are looking to expand our US team with an Area Sales Manager for the New England Area based in state of Connecticut or Massachusetts. The territory will cover Northeast. Reporting to the Regional Manager, you will work closely with our Sales team and brokers to develop this channel for our company and implement successful sales strategies.

• All travel and stay are paid for by the company.
• Base $80,000 to $100,000 (based on experience) + Incentives.
• $500 Car allowance, phone allowance, Gas +Tolls + Parking (for business use of personal car)
• Laptop Computer, Company Credit Card (for approved business expenses)
• Medical, dental, vision, life, and 401k

• Manage Distributors, Retailers, and Brokers in the Area.
• Manage Annual Sales Targets and Plans.
• Work with the Brokers on a weekly basis to execute plans and initiatives.
• Build rapport and credibility with District Managers/Buyers/store personnel.
• Improve our shelf and display presence accounting to company standers.
• Communicate store level activity back to the Regional Manager.
• Prospect and secure new business.
• Submit orders for processing.

• Bachelor's Degree or 2-5 years Account Manager experience
• Reside in the state of Connecticut or Massachusetts
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation.
• At least 2-5 years of sales experience in CPG selling into grocery stores.
• Must have current experience managing accounts including major retailers as well as independent grocery stores.
• Basic Computer Skills & Microsoft Office Platforms:
  Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Strong communication skills - written and oral
• Bilingual a plus (English / Spanish)
• Strong negotiation skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
