AIM OF THE POSITIONThe Molecular Oncology Specialist (MOS) is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for oncology services within the New England Territory: MA, CT, NH, VT, ME, up to White Plains, NY.

- Identify, target, educate and manage accounts in the assigned territory including hospitals, pathology groups, oncologists, and surgeons on Agendia’s products.
- Analyze the designated territory to understand prescribing and purchasing decision processes and any marked differences from national trends.
- Drive new oncology business, maintaining customer relationships and exceeding sales targets.
- Achieve sales forecasts and targets.
- Organize and facilitate meetings for the exchange of medical and product information in line with the company’s policies, regulatory and legal requirements.
- Represent company at trade shows, attend company meetings, training programs and functions as needed.
- Develop and implement alternate plans to achieve objectives and modify call or business plan activities as necessary.
- Identify key physicians, health care providers and organizations within the assigned territory.
- Focus targeted sales activity on high-end revenue, volume opportunities, and Community Based Oncology and Surgery practices.
- Support company sales strategy and contribute to fostering a team environment.
- Present a positive and professional image of Agendia and ensure activities are consistent with and enhance the company’s ethical marketing policies and procedures.
- Travel independently throughout the defined territory to drive oncology sales.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs).
- Provide ongoing communication to the Regional Sales Director regarding business opportunities and issues.
- Maintain database of customers and targets in Salesforce (SFDC).
- Present at quarterly sales meetings.
- Work closely with marketing on regional market trends, competitive threats and new testing opportunities.
- Follow all Agendia, Inc.’s health and safety policies and procedures.
- Perform all company business in accordance with regulations (e.g., EEO, FDA, DEA, OSHA, PDMA, EPA) and company policy and procedures.
- Reside in the territory/geography assigned.
- Provide consistent, timely and complete administrative duties and responsibilities, including expense reports, call reports and communications.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
- Provide test report orientation guidance to clinicians, avoiding specific patient management or treatment recommendations.

- Bachelor’s degree;
Master’s degree highly desired.
- 3+ years of field sales work experience in diagnostics, oncology, lab services, pharmaceutical, biotech, or related industry.
- Advanced knowledge of concepts and practices with the ability to use them in diverse business situations.
- Experience completing and implementing attainable business plans.
- Establish physicians’ thought leaders and other relevant stakeholder relationships.
- Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding financial and/or qualitative targets.
- Effective, professional communication with all organizational members, customers and external contacts.
- Ability to travel with overnight stays and attend some weekend programs.
- Ability to translate key scientific information supporting product, competitors, science and marketplace to a broad range of oncology customers.
- Reside in the territory/geography assigned.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize workload.
- Self-organization.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks under minimum supervision.
- Can-do attitude; enables change.
- Establish ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements.
- Regularly walks, stands, and sits.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds unassisted.
- Regularly works on a computer for approximately 6‑8 hours a day.
- Will be traveling by plane, train, car, etc. for extensive amounts of time.
- Ability to travel to meet territorial requirements of up to 75%.
