Job DescriptionRole: Dealer Account Manager
Location: Remote – on the road
Our Dealer Account Managers help current and future dealer partners sell more cars and trucks by financing more customers. This is a challenging, dynamic position with opportunities for advancement. You will educate and train dealer partners in the assigned area and acquire new sources and contacts. You will manage and consult in all sales activities and account development for dealers in your area, and ensure quality and consistency of product and service delivery.
This role requires a consultative sales approach and the ability to manage your own dealer base to grow and succeed.
This is a full-time position with full-time benefits. We are looking for highly motivated, dedicated candidates who are comfortable working in a field environment and traveling in a local market.

- Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to all levels of management within independent and franchise dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts and other opportunities.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals from field activity with independent and franchise dealers.
- Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within independent and franchise dealer communities.
- Maintain constant and effective communication via phone and in-person visits to train dealers on current programs and funding requirements.
- Provide solutions and structure loan proposals for approval in a profitable manner for Westlake and dealership partners.
- Assist with the preparation of sales contracts by educating the dealer on what is needed for verification by Westlake Financial.
- Develop and maintain sales materials and stay current on financial product knowledge.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events for dealers.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive finance and sales (required).
- 1–2 years of previous sales experience with a proven track record.
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Strong presentation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
- Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal-oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
- Ability to communicate and work amicably with diverse teams.
- Knowledge/experience with Dealer Track, Routeone, or CUDL (beneficial).
- Previous outside sales experience (preferred).
- Significant local travel; valid state driver’s license required.
