Client Relationship Manager
King & Bishop is hiring on behalf of our client, a private social club located in Boston’s Back Bay, seeking a Private Events Sales Manager to drive private events revenue and deliver exceptional member and client experiences.
This role is responsible for the sale, contracting, and detailed planning of social and corporate events
, managing the client relationship from initial inquiry through final event specifications. The Private Events Sales Manager ensures each event is thoughtfully planned and seamlessly transitioned to operations for execution.

, requiring strong sales acumen, attention to detail, and the ability to translate a client’s vision into a well-executed event plan that reflects the organization’s high standards of service and hospitality.
Lead the sale of private events, including meetings, celebrations, and social gatherings, with accountability for achieving annual revenue goals.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of private events through member engagement, referrals, and targeted outreach.
Conduct client consultations, tours, and presentations that effectively showcase event spaces, services, and offerings.
Convert inquiries into confirmed events through consultative selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
Maximize event revenue through strategic pricing, menu recommendations, and value-added enhancements.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, ensuring a highly personalized and responsive experience.
Partner with clients to define event objectives, design, timelines, menus, and logistics.
Translate client vision into clear event plans and detailed specifications.
Collaborate with culinary and food & beverage leadership to develop menus that meet client expectations while maintaining profitability.
Prepare and finalize Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and related documentation to ensure operational alignment across internal teams.
Manage all pre-event communication, approvals, and changes to ensure readiness prior to execution.
Act as the client advocate internally, ensuring all contracted details are clearly communicated to operations and service teams.
Participate in pre-event briefings to confirm event readiness and alignment.
Address client feedback or concerns professionally and collaboratively.
Cultivate repeat business through strong relationship management and post-event follow-up.
Track and report private events pipeline activity, confirmed revenue, and forecasting on a regular basis.
Review final event billing for accuracy in collaboration with finance and food & beverage leadership.
Utilize client feedback and satisfaction surveys to identify opportunities for service improvement.
Proven experience in private events sales, hospitality sales, or event management
.Strong sales and relationship-building skills with a client-first mindset.
Ability to manage multiple events and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional communication, organization, and attention to detail.
Experience preparing event documentation such as BEOs and contracts is strongly preferred.
Passion for delivering high-touch client experiences and memorable events.
