Healthcare AWS Sr. Account Executive, Global HCLS - Health Tech A

AWS seeks an experienced Sr. Account Manager to expand its business footprint with strategic Healthcare ISV customers. The role involves building and maintaining broad relationships with C‑level executives, engineering, IT, partner organizations, and sales teams. It includes selling at the most strategic levels, implementing a wide‑scope strategy for customer acquisition and service adoption, and collaborating with AWS resources to advocate for customers while aligning with business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with all aspects of the customer’s organization (C‑level executives, engineering, IT operations, partner org, sales)
  • Build and maintain extensive relationships and develop and manage business opportunities
  • Facilitate a large team of extended resources—including Executives, Partners, Support, and Solution Architects—to support customer interests
  • Execute strategic sales at the highest organizational levels and implement acceptance and service‑implementation strategies
  • Advocate for the customer while aligning with AWS business needs
  • Drive new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development
  • Manage dotted‑line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration
Basic Qualifications
  • Experience with sales targets, business development, and driving customer satisfaction
  • Experience with cloud technologies and IT strategies
  • 5+ years of technology sales or account management experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of solving problems with technology in the Healthcare/Life Sciences industry
  • Experience building new customer relationships, closing sales, and generating revenue
  • Track record of exceeding sales goals
  • Experience with AI/ML technologies
  • Experience developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements
  • Experience engaging and influencing C‑level executives, both business and technical
