Job Title
Account Manager – Immunology
LocationLong Beach, CA
Responsibilities- Acquire and maintain expertise in brand/segment strategy and tactics, and provide expert product knowledge.
- Promote and generate demand for prescription products, including launching new products.
- Execute integrated commercial selling strategies using knowledge of contracting and access platforms and market insight.
- Lead development of cross-functional account plans to drive penetration, retention, and growth for key accounts, ensuring alignment with market, patient access and reimbursement goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, using analytics and customer insights to anticipate needs and support solution development.
- Oversee relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the area.
- Execute customer engagement initiatives to strengthen partnerships.
- Serve as liaison and primary point of contact for assigned contacts in Galderma’s commercial speaker bureau.
- Plan, organize, and execute field-based activities following company and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field (required).
- At least 5 years of outside sales experience with variable commission potential (required).
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical sales experience in dermatology or medical sales (required).
- Prior account management, business-to-business sales, and generalist sales experience.
- Strong, documented record of consistent performance success.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to learn and apply technical, industry, and product information consultatively.
- High integrity, personal motivation, and sense of urgency.
- Aggressive selling skills and ability to differentiate products to increase utilization.
- Collaboration with internal functions such as market, patient access, and reimbursement.
- Ownership of book of business and results-oriented mindset.
- Analytical problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Self-starter who works autonomously and adapts to changing circumstances.
- Strategic thinking with long-term vision.
- Relationship management and closing abilities appropriate for a range of audiences.
- Adaptability to ambiguous environments and willingness to take calculated risks.

- Proficiency with sales data and call-reporting software.
- Proficiency with MS Office and sales reporting tools.
Base salary range: $120,000–$160,000, commensurate with experience. The role includes a competitive commission plan and comprehensive benefits program, which covers health insurance, a 401(k) plan with employer match, paid time off, and hybrid work schedules.
