Role Overview
As an Account Executive, you will sell new business while managing and growing your client portfolio through CoStar products. This consultative role empowers you to build relationships, engage new clients, and oversee the entire sales process from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities- Sell new business by identifying and pursuing opportunities and promoting the value of CoStar products.
- Manage and expand your client portfolio, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and growth of tailored solutions.
- Develop expertise in CoStar products and the commercial real estate market.
- Handle the end‑to‑end sales cycle, including prospecting, product demonstrations, closing, onboarding, training and renewals.
- Conduct in‑person meetings and deliver product demos to brokers, owners, corporations, investors and other commercial real estate professionals.
- Represent CoStar at industry events and cultivate long‑term professional relationships.
- At least 3 years of successful B2B sales experience.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
- Track record of exceeding sales targets and commitment to prior employers.
- Experience in client management and post‑sale activities.
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record check.
- 4+ years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment selling data, research, and analytic platforms or related fields; commercial real estate experience strongly preferred.
- Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
- Interest in the commercial real estate market and willingness to develop expertise in CoStar’s product suite.
- Demonstrated success in managing client portfolios and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Results‑driven mindset focused on customer satisfaction and market knowledge.
- Ambitious and motivated by uncapped earning potential.
- Adaptable – quick to learn and apply new concepts.
- Engaging and client‑focused communicator.
- Curious with strong listening skills and a willingness to learn.

Base salary range: $75,000 – $95,000 based on skills and experience. Uncapped commission program and generous benefits package.

Pay TransparencyThis role offers a base salary range of $75,000 to $95,000, an uncapped commission plan, and generous benefits.
