Beyond Trust seeks a Business Development Representative (BDR) to support outbound sales teams by prospecting opportunities, researching accounts, and initiating contact with key decision makers. The role drives new business pipeline and collaborates closely with Account Executives to identify quality leads.
The RoleWithin the Business Development Representative (BDR) role, we support outbound sales teams by assisting them through strategic prospecting efforts and extensive account research. BDRs consistently make a tangible impact in the Sales Development Organization by generating millions of dollars of new business pipelines each year.
What You’ll Do- Generate new business pipeline primarily through prospecting outbound opportunities
- Nurture early-stage opportunities
- Gain interest through outbound cold calling across a set of existing BT customers and breaking into net new logos in assigned territory
- Partner with Account Executives to identify and source net new pipeline and assist by researching lines of business and personas
- Identify key decision makers within new accounts
- Create a great first impression to prospects and customers by providing a world‑class experience
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing customers through creative follow‑up communications designed to increase customer interest in BT
- Achieve monthly quotas of sourced qualified opportunities
- Enter prospect information into Salesforce
- Enhance product knowledge through regularly attending training sessions
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional offers to help optimize revenue
- 1‑2 years experience in business development, sales or related field
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and think out‑of‑the‑box
- Experience researching, account planning, prospecting, and cold calling into a large list of accounts that are a hybrid of net‑new and existing install
- Proven track record of achieving sales metrics and consistent quota attainment year over year
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong relationship‑building skills with sales teams
- Ability to multi‑task, prioritize workload, and maximize efficiency
- Effective listening skills to understand prospect needs
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong desire to be in technology sales
- Strong problem‑solving skills
- High energy and positive attitude
- Ability to take initiative
- Solid phone, prospecting, sales, customer service, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Customer Relationship Management tool
