AWS WWPS Govtech sales team is hiring a Senior Account Manager to lead transformative deals and redefine how Gov Techs innovate with cloud and Agentic AI. Bring your passion for building businesses, your operational excellence, and deep industry insights to help our customers accelerate their digital transformations at scale.
Key Job Responsibilities- Build and maintain trusted senior relationships with assigned Gov Tech accounts, fostering partnerships anchored on customer obsession, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams (Business Development, Solutions Architecture, Partner Organization, Marketing, Customer Success) to solve customers' most complex business and technical challenges.
- Use data and metrics to manage pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales productivity.
- Identify transformational opportunities, de‑risk execution, and replicate success through scalable plays and mechanisms.
- Accelerate customer adoption and develop long‑term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Experience managing and growing large accounts, product marketing or management consulting roles.
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives, demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision‑making processes in enterprise customers.
- Experience in business development, account management, product management, project management, financial analysis and/or marketing.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with cloud, server or infrastructure technologies and business models.
- 7+ years of technology‑related sales, business development or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the public sector.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package may include sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.
