Associate Vice President, Divisional Sales, SIG

About the Role

The Company is seeking an AVP, Divisional Sales to lead and direct the sales activities of assigned External Wholesalers within the institutional group distribution channel.

• Manage the External Wholesalers, including planning, monitoring work, and making decisions related to employment, performance appraisal, and training.
• Set and achieve divisional sales goals, and provide training and development to the sales team.
• Ensure a strong understanding of the products offered within the division.
• Take corrective action when necessary, prepare detailed reports on sales progress, and drive commitment to internal control processes.

• Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales, wholesaler, or relationship management within the insurance or financial services industry.
• Divisional sales management and staff management experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, public speaking, and presentation skills, and advanced knowledge of the financial services industry and investment products.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and present a positive, professional image.
• Required licenses:
  Series License 63, Series License 6, Series License 7, and a Life Insurance license.
• High level of commitment, ability to travel extensively, and attend related conferences and meetings.
