Inside Account Executive
Cisco is seeking a high-energy, results-driven Inside Account Executive to join our Collaboration business unit. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for a defined set of customers, driving the adoption of Cisco's industry-leading collaboration portfolio, including Webex, Cisco Devices, and Contact Center solutions. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to closing deals, while fostering long-term customer relationships in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Pipeline Management:
Proactively identify, qualify, and develop a robust sales pipeline through strategic outbound prospecting, marketing lead follow-up, and account planning. - Solution Selling:
Articulate the value proposition of Cisco Collaboration solutions, aligning our technology with specific customer business outcomes and digital transformation goals. - Customer Engagement:
Conduct high-impact virtual demonstrations and discovery meetings to uncover customer pain points and position Cisco as the preferred partner for hybrid work and team collaboration. - Sales Execution:
Manage the end-to-end sales process, including quoting, contract negotiation, and closing transactions, while maintaining accurate forecasting within Salesforce. - Collaboration:
Partner closely with internal stakeholders, including Systems Engineers, Customer Success Managers, and Channel Partners, to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful deployment. - Market Insight:
Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscapes, and Cisco's evolving Collaboration product roadmap to serve as a trusted advisor to your customers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience:
2–5 years of inside sales or account management experience, preferably within the SaaS, networking, or unified communications industry. - Communication
Skills:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at various levels of an organization. - Sales Proficiency:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with MEDDIC or similar sales methodologies is highly preferred. - Technical Aptitude: A strong interest in collaboration technology and the ability to quickly learn and articulate complex technical solutions.
- Tools & Systems:
Proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual meeting platforms (Webex, Zoom, etc.). - Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
