Compensation: $17-$20 hourly plus multiple commission and bonus opportunities.

Do you have a passion for developing relationships, providing exceptional guest experiences, and being an innovator in the automotive industry? As a BDC Sales Agent, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on our business and in the lives of our team members and customers every day. We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused BDC Sales Agent who will help us redefine the car‑buying experience.

Responsibilities
  • Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls and emails in a timely manner.
  • Identify customer needs, provide information on sales appointment availability, partner with sales advisors, research issues and provide solutions or alternatives.
  • Receive a high amount of inbound calls.
  • Partner with the sales department to schedule vehicle sales appointments.
  • Greet customers.
  • Contact and communicate with customers to identify automotive sales needs.
  • Follow all dealership processes and procedures, ensuring high frequency of contact with customers.
  • Thoroughly document all contacts within the customer management system.
  • Complete internet lead management on a daily basis.
  • Answer all calls promptly, professionally, and courteously.
  • Use scripts to collect all pertinent customer information and document in the system accordingly.
  • Adhere to Asbury phone scripts.
  • Maintain excellent customer service skills and motivation to be successful.
  • Handle a high volume of incoming and outgoing calls, typically 50+ calls per day.
  • Utilize advanced computer and phone skills.
  • Type at least 35‑40 words per minute.
  • Use customer tracking systems to track calls and appointments.
  • Possess prior retail, sales, service BDC, receptionist, call center, or sales BDC experience.
  • Multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Demonstrate teamwork.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of eighteen years of age.
  • Ability to pass pre‑employment screenings, including background and drug tests.
