Artaic is a high‑tech design and manufacturing company based in historic Charlestown that produces mass‑customized tile mosaics for commercial architecture and interior design. The company uses a proprietary, partially automated system of front‑end design software linked to back‑end inventory management and robotic fabrication, enabling revolutionary efficiency in mosaic production.
THE POSITIONArtaic seeks a self‑motivated Commercial Sales Representative to support and grow its national sales organization. The role involves fielding leads, pursuing opportunities, and managing a book of business, while leveraging a new sales automation and digital marketing platform. The representative will work closely with executive leadership and cross‑functional teams to deliver results in a fast‑growing, innovation‑oriented environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Sell, manage and develop a book of business across key markets in the U.S. and internationally.
- Conduct virtual product presentations and business development to key accounts.
- Manage and grow a steady lead funnel, qualifying, nurturing and closing opportunities through a CRM platform.
- Maintain a robust social media presence and promote Artaic within the industry.
- Coordinate sample requests, renderings, and project delivery with the Project Services and Production departments.
- Develop new partnerships and sales programs to increase company growth.
- Analyze sales data, present monthly reports and forecasting.
- Boston‑based; travel required to drive major opportunities.
- Compensation is directly tied to quoting and closing sales.
- 5+ years experience in sales, ideally in architectural products, design industry, or a related field.
- Creative, entrepreneurial, go‑getter mentality with aptitude for data‑driven sales and marketing techniques.
- Proven ability to manage and scale a sales pipeline and contribute meaningful growth to a sales organization.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in‑person and virtual.
- Experience presenting sales and marketing collateral, product & process features, and company presentations.
- Experience developing, selling or marketing custom products is a big plus.
- Strong analytical and decision‑making skills.
- Consistently exceeds targets and sets a new standard for initiative, efficiency, and results.
- Experience in business development, preferably in architectural finishes or furnishings.
- Design savvy and ability to inspire creative vision.
- Proficiency with a CRM platform such as Hub Spot or Podio CRM, and leveraging IT tools for mobile planning and execution.
- Market research to identify promising segments and develop a disciplined approach to reaching goals.
Competitive personalized package includes base salary, lucrative commission and sales incentive bonus structure, health benefits, and equity. Salary $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year, plus commission.
