Discovery Reagents Sales Specialist – MA & CT

OverviewWe are looking for a driven, customer‑focused professional to join Revvity’s commercial team. The role focuses on selling and supporting Discovery Reagents products and services in the MA and CT territories. Candidates should understand customer needs in drug discovery and therapeutic‑area research and be ready to build long‑term relationships with key opinion leaders.
Responsibilities- Complete Territory Management: manage all business activity for assigned products and services in the territory.
- Achieve and/or exceed sales targets year over year across specified Revvity product lines.
- Communicate the Revvity vision across scientific workflows and applications.
- Conduct business reviews with the Regional Manager.
- Plan and maintain an accurate territory forecast.
- Build long‑term relationships with customers, including key opinion leaders.
- Advise customers on product initiatives; present and demonstrate product benefits and scientific value.
- Assist in assay optimization and train new customers on relevant products.
- Organize and promote events at customer sites to market products and services; participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and conferences.
- Develop long‑term account strategies to grow business within the territory.
- Coordinate with Revvity Product Management to communicate and incorporate new product enhancements.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with other sales teams and business units to promote Revvity solutions.
- B.S. in life sciences.
- 5+ years in a laboratory setting performing drug discovery research, HTS, immunoassays, and assay development, focused on microplate‑based applications.
- Master’s and/or Ph.D. preferred.
- Prior sales experience is a plus, but not mandatory (alternative experience may include field applications, laboratory, project/product management, marketing, or similar functions in the life science industry).
- Strong communication skills, including writing emails and communicating in person and on the phone with a variety of personalities.
- Ability to consult and pivot across virtual and face‑to‑face selling models.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Self‑motivated; able to work both independently and as part of a team, well organized, stress‑resistant, and versatile.
- Passion for staying current with new technologies and applications in the life science market.
- Availability for occasional overnight travel (about 5% of time).
- Computer skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel), assay data analysis, CRM (SFDC), PowerBI, and prospecting tools.
- Base salary: $84,000 – $90,000 annually (depend on internal equity, location, and qualifications).
