We are hiring a true territory sales representative to grow our presence in the Boston market. This is a field-driven role focused on winning new business and developing long-term customer relationships. If you are not comfortable prospecting, cold calling, and opening doors, this role will not be the right fit.

Our company is a wholesale distributor specializing in welding filler metals and industrial consumables sold directly to end users. Unlike traditional distributors, we provide a unique advantage in the marketplace by working directly with production facilities, fabricators, and manufacturers.

This role will focus heavily on selling welding consumables, including industrial adhesives and related products used in metal fabrication and manufacturing environments.

What You'll Do
  • Prospect and cold call daily to generate new business opportunities
  • Develop and manage a sales territory throughout the greater Charlotte market
  • Build relationships with steel fabricators, steel erectors, truck and trailer manufacturers, tank manufacturers, railing manufacturers, and other production facilities
  • Grow existing accounts while aggressively pursuing new business
  • Conduct in-person customer visits and product demonstrations
  • Manage your territory independently and own your sales performance
We are specifically seeking candidates with experience selling into:
  • Steel Fabricators
  • Steel Erectors
  • Truck & Trailer Manufacturers
  • Tank Manufacturers
  • Large Railing Manufacturers
  • High-volume metal production facilities
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in welding filler metals, abrasives, or industrial distribution sales
  • Experience selling directly to end-user production facilities preferred
  • Existing industry relationships or book of business is a strong plus
  • Hunter mentality with a passion for prospecting and closing deals
  • Comfortable with cold calling and face-to-face selling
  • Self-motivated, accountable, and highly driven
  • Must not be restricted by a current non-compete agreement
Compensation & Benefits
  • $61,000 base salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Strong growth opportunity within an expanding territory
