Job Summary
The Vaccines Health and Science Professional (HSP) promotes the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels, engaging in regular live field customer interactions and virtual engagements. The HSP leads new product launches, develops strategies for business relationships, secures formulary access, and drives sales efforts and relationship development with customers, accounts, Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders within the assigned geography.
Responsibilities- Drive sales in assigned territory to achieve approved business objectives.
- Engage with customers both face-to-face and virtually.
- Develop and implement effective business and territory call plans and live/virtual engagement strategies.
- Build rapport and relationships with customers in both live and virtual environments.
- Leverage internal reports and analytics to identify, develop, and implement strategic business opportunities.
- Complyingly apply product and disease state knowledge using approved information and resources.
- Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across all relevant business channels.
- Collaborate effectively with cross‑functional colleagues, including Field Medical and Account Management, to address customer inquiries and advance company objectives.
- Complete all administrative expectations on time and in compliance.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Professional Sales or Promotional Activity, or an associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience, or a high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in Small Business Ownership, Marketing, Customer Service, Account Management, Healthcare/Scientific roles (e.g., RN, Pharmacist, PT, OT), Educator, or full‑time Military.
- Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards.
- At least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or related marketing experience.
- Strong track record of sales or marketing success, territory management skills, outstanding communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and accountability.
- Experience with the Vaccines therapeutic area and products.
- Knowledge of the region’s customers and markets.
- Residence within the territory boundaries.

Annual base salary ranges from $76,000 to $199,600. The role is a salary non‑exempt employee during initial new hire sales training, thereafter becoming overtime exempt. Quarterly Sales Incentive bonuses are available in addition to a comprehensive benefits package that includes a 401(k) plan with Pfizer matching contributions, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits covering medical, prescription drug, dental and vision.
