We are seeking a dynamic, experienced and result‑oriented Sales Manager to join our team in the Commercial Furniture industry. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to take responsibility for a thriving sales department and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in prospecting, cold calling, territory management, outside sales, lead generation, and direct sales.

This role requires a minimum of 5+ years of experience working with dealers in the commercial furniture industry.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.
  • Identify and target potential new customers, industries, and markets to increase sales.
  • Manage the sales team and all sales activities within the company, including setting sales goals, analyzing data on sales performance, and projecting future performance.
  • Utilize prospecting skills to identify potential clients, and cold calling techniques to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Implement effective territory management strategies to maximize sales in assigned regions.
  • Drive outside sales initiatives and represent the company at trade exhibitions, events, and demonstrations to increase brand visibility.
  • Lead the generation of new sales opportunities and convert leads into profitable sales.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings to review pipeline, resolve challenges, and present possible solutions, and provide ongoing training to the sales team.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, industry leaders, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activities, and provide actionable insights.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in a sales management role, preferably in the furniture or design industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth in a business.
  • Exceptional skills in prospecting, cold calling, territory management, outside sales, lead generation, and direct sales.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand market trends and sales data.
  • Excellent negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to overcome sales obstacles and challenges.
