Sales EngineerWe are seeking a highly motivated individual with proven presentation skills and effective sales methods. As a Sales Engineer, you will be focused on developing new business within an assigned territory as well as retaining and building relationships with existing customers. You will take ownership of the entire sales cycle, driving sales results and helping customers realize their business goals with product solutions you can proudly deliver.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, develop and close new business with new and existing customers.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets within assigned territory and accounts.
- Regularly travel to perform customer consultations to determine needs and solutions, obtaining detailed information for estimates and proposals.
- Maintain involvement on turnkey projects, demonstrations and other related customer projects to meet deadlines and budgets.
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry and product lines presented by the company.
- Utilize (CRM) for all prospecting and customer activities.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering or Business or equivalent work experience.
- Previous outside sales experience with manufactured equipment is preferred.
- Strong professional communication and presentation skills.
- Innovative approach to problem‑solving and ability to thrive in a results‑based environment.
- Effective closer.
- Mechanical/technical aptitude preferred.
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using CRM software.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable automobile transportation, and current auto insurance.
The estimated base pay for this position is typically between $54,000 and $78,000. The actual base pay may be influenced by factors such as education, training, skills, qualifications, competencies, years of experience, job‑related knowledge, and scope of the role.
In addition to base pay, Yamazen Inc. provides a competitive compensation package including salary with commissions and business.
