We are hiring a senior SDR to help build the outbound engine for Maven Bio, the market intelligence layer for life sciences AI. You will book qualified meetings through cold calls, email, Linked In, events, and account research, then partner with our Account Executive team to turn those meetings into qualified pipeline.
This role is for someone who has already proven they can create B2B SaaS pipeline and wants a faster path: more ownership, direct founder access, sharper coaching, and a product sold to senior buyers at pharma, biotech, consulting firms, and investment teams.
What You ll Do- Book qualified meetings with target accounts through cold calls, email, Linked In, events, and high-quality follow-up.
- Build and work account lists across pharma, biotech, consulting, and investment teams.
- Learn Maven Bio's product, ICP, buyer pain, use cases, and competitive alternatives.
- Partner with Account Executives to convert meetings into qualified opportunities.
- Run a disciplined daily outbound system: calls, sequences, Linked In touches, CRM updates, follow-ups, and end-of-day reporting.
- Use AI, CRM data, account research, and call feedback to improve messaging and target selection.
- Surface market feedback from prospects so the team can improve positioning, sequences, demos, and qualification.
- B2B SaaS outbound experience. You have at least 12 months of B2B outbound sales experience in SaaS, active now or completed within the last 6 months.
- Meeting creation track record. You have booked qualified meetings in a high-urgency outbound environment, and you can explain the activity, messaging, and process behind your wins.
- Ownership-first mindset. You take initiative, move fast, and figure things out without waiting for perfect instructions.
- Early-stage fit. You want a small team, direct feedback, high standards, and visible impact.
- Coachability. You can take feedback in the morning and show the improved version that afternoon.
- Resilience. You handle rejection, stay consistent under pressure, and do not let a bad call ruin the next 20.
- Communication. You write clean emails, speak clearly on the phone, and can hold a real conversation with senior operators in life sciences.
- AI-native work habits. You use AI tools to research accounts, write better first drafts, prepare for calls, and compound your output.
- Direct ownership of top-of-funnel pipeline at a company where outbound is valued.
- Daily access to founders, AEs, and a small GTM team.
- Hands-on coaching from a dedicated GTM advisor who has built four outbound functions from 0 to 1, generated nearly half a billion dollars in pipeline, and led one of the highest-performing SDR teams in B2B SaaS.
- A product with senior buyers, clear business pain, and strong demo conversion.
- A path into AE, strategic SDR, or outbound leadership as the team grows.
