About The Role
The Account Executive drives revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, from prospecting high-value SaaS prospects to negotiating and closing enterprise-level deals. Operating in a fast-paced technology environment, this role translates complex technical capabilities into clear business value for decision-makers. The position sits at the intersection of sales strategy and technical solution‑mapping, requiring a deep understanding of cloud architectures, software integrations, and modern developer tooling to effectively engage with engineering managers, product leads, and IT buyers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the complete sales lifecycle, including prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, running technical demonstrations, and closing new business.
- Partner with Solutions Engineers to scope technical requirements, handle objections, and design tailored proofs‑of‑concept for enterprise buyers.
- Maintain high outbound activity levels and pipeline hygiene within Salesforce CRM, keeping accurate forecasts of monthly and quarterly performance.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing agreements, and security reviews with procurement and legal departments.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure seamless post‑sales transition and initial customer onboarding.
- Provide regular product feedback from prospects to the engineering and product management teams to guide the development roadmap.
- 3‑6 years of direct sales experience in B2B SaaS, ideally selling developer tools, cloud infrastructure, or complex API solutions.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding an annual quota of $750k+ ARR.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to comfortably discuss APIs, cloud deployments, and security standards with technical stakeholders.
- Experience using modern sales tech stacks including Salesforce, Outreach, Zoom Info, and Linked In Sales Navigator.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, computer science, or a related field.
- Bonus:
Experience selling to engineering, Dev Ops, or product leadership personas; experience in a high‑growth startup environment.
