Job Description Summary
Regional Sales Manager – Power Stability will be responsible for developing and winning business in the Power Stability market for Transmission, Distribution, Power Generation Utilities, and Developers customers. This new emerging market position covers the full spectrum from developing new business opportunities to driving customer relationships up to deal closure. High levels of commercial judgment are required to achieve desired outcomes.
Job DescriptionGE Vernova’s Power Conversion & Storage business combines advanced energy conversion and storage systems to meet the electrification needs of utilities and industries. With a focus on power stability, energy storage, and industrial electrification solutions, Power Conversion & Storage empowers customers by addressing their most complex electrification challenges and accelerating their transition to a sustainable, decarbonized future.
Roles And Responsibilities- Sell solutions that enable higher levels of renewable power to be delivered to the grid.
- Build and manage relationships with TSOs/DSOs, regulators, utilities, IPPs, and partners to shape plans and procurements.
- Cover the full spectrum from business development on emerging markets up to closing multi-million contracts.
- Contribute to delivering order targets for Power Conversion and Storage North America in a strategic and growing segment for the business.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field; a degree in electrical, electromechanical, or a related engineering discipline is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and/or business development in the technology, energy, or related field.
- Knowledge of medium voltage power conversion technology, including power electronics and electrical rotating machines.
- Strong customer‑centric mindset, with the ability to convert customer needs and issues into profitable business solutions.
- Strategic thinker capable of turning business development challenges into growth opportunities.
- Self‑starter with a collaborative mindset and a consistent “can‑do” approach throughout the full business cycle.
- Proven experience working effectively in multicultural and remote team environments, demonstrating inclusive behaviors.
- Experience in functional or matrix leadership, with the ability to lead through influence rather than authority.
- Willingness to travel per business needs.
