What You'll Do

Travel required. Responsibilities include prospecting new business, meeting sales budgets, implementing sales plans, serving as the primary liaison, delivering presentations, maintaining touch plans in Salesforce, preparing reports, resolving customer problems, and other duties as assigned.

  • Prospects new business within Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
  • Meet or exceed established sales budgets, strategic goals and KPIs.
  • Develop and implement a strategic prospecting plan; provide weekly updates to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Implement strategic sales plans to achieve budgeted sales goals and meet company objectives at small‑to‑medium retailers and national accounts.
  • Act as the company’s primary liaison with retail customers.
  • Delivers sales and training presentations in the retail accounts as well as national account locations.
  • Travels through assigned territory and uses Salesforce (CRM) to maintain a touch plan for the retail customers and their key stakeholders.
  • Prepares business reports and submits regular expense reports.
  • Investigates and resolves customer problems.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by the Regional Vice President of Sales or the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Assumes 80% hunting new business and 20% account management (farming).
About You
  • 3+ years of sales experience (experience selling into the retail space desirable).
  • Minimum 2+ years of new business development (sales hunting) required.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% with overnight travel.
  • Extensive driving required; current driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
  • Location requirement: primary residence within Massachusetts or Rhode Island territory during employment.
Compensation

Full‑time annual year‑one on‑target compensation (base salary + commission) for this role is $105,000‑$140,000. Commission is uncapped.
