YourMain Responsibilities
The Service Sales Manager partners with the General Manager – Service to retain and grow the existing service portfolio while driving acquisition and recovery efforts for units outside of the portfolio across an assigned territory. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional customer satisfaction while supporting the region's strategic and financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with the General Manager – Service to execute the territory business plan and support the achievement of financial and operational goals.
- Drive the implementation of service sales initiatives and develop sales strategies that support regional growth targets.
- Assist in developing sales budgets and preparing the annual EI Sales Plan in alignment with regional objectives.
- Reinforce standardized sales management practices, processes, and tools to drive consistency and performance across the team.
- Grow the service portfolio by increasing unit count and portfolio value, with a strong focus on driving repair sales and immediate business opportunities.
- Collaborate with the General Manager – Service to develop and execute a sustainable customer excellence strategy that strengthens customer loyalty and service quality.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, decision-makers, and industry consultants through direct engagement and team involvement.
- Identify, develop, and expand relationships with major accounts, including national customers and strategic prospects.
- Lead account retention efforts by managing cancellation avoidance programs, with a particular focus on Top 20 accounts and other at‑risk customers.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Service Sales Representatives by setting clear objectives, managing performance, and continuously enhancing team capabilities to achieve financial goals and key performance metrics.
- Ensure service sales meetings are effective, productive, and aligned with business objectives, leading meetings as needed.
- Foster a collaborative, high‑performing culture through participative management practices, while supporting Schindler's values, culture, and leadership principles.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated contractual matters, collection efforts, and customer disputes.
- Investigate and resolve complex customer concerns that require leadership involvement and escalation management.
- BA/BS in Business, Management, Marketing, or Sales (preferred)
- Business‑to‑business sales experience.
- Overall knowledge of product and product application; service techniques and procedures; ability to understand financial statements; legal awareness of contract terms and conditions.
- Multiple years in various assignments within the company, in the elevator industry, or in another service‑oriented business.
$127,100 – $158,800 (typical range). Salary may be adjusted based on experience, education, location, and alignment with business priorities. Compensation listed reflects only base salary and does not include commissions or longer‑term incentives.
