Neuroscience Sales Specialist – A strategic, results‑driven professional responsible for significant sales growth and profitability within a defined territory through compliant, ethical solutions. The role requires deep account‑based selling skills, strong relationship building, and a collaborative mindset to support cross‑functional initiatives. Candidates must bring problem‑solving and analytical skills to proactively identify opportunities, develop tailored solutions, and exceed performance expectations.
Essential Areas of Responsibility- Build rapport and relationships by interacting with regional team members and key external contacts (HCP and office staff) at all levels, demonstrating awareness of their needs.
- Provide healthcare product demonstrations, physician detailing, and in‑servicing of products to current and potential customers.
- Consult with physicians, nurses, and medical office staff to promote products and provide patient education.
- Strategically manage and grow relationships with key accounts by tailoring solutions to meet their unique needs and leveraging industry insights to drive product differentiation and achieve sales targets.
- Regularly review and analyze sales data to create effective territory plans and utilize promotional budget funds.
- Maintain a competitive edge by addressing external market challenges while fostering collaboration with internal teams to drive cohesive sales strategies.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate diverse expertise and achieve shared objectives.
- Maintain the call average outlined in the sales plan, focusing on face‑to‑face interactions with top target customers.
- Apply traditional and nontraditional problem‑solving techniques to improve performance in the geographic assignment.
- Adhere to all Teva compliance policies and guidelines.
- Achieve all sales performance goals, reach objectives, and complete all administrative duties for the geographic assignment.
Education/Certification/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a related field.
- Minimum of 1 year of full‑time, documented business‑to‑business sales experience; pharmaceutical sales experience strongly preferred.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Proven record of accomplishments toward meeting established objectives in this specific market.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, including active listening, empathy, open communication, inclusivity, and openness to feedback.
- Well‑developed written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to interact with HCPs in both face‑to‑face and virtual environments and proficiency with technology.
- Knowledge of reimbursement, managed care, or marketing preferred.
- New product launch experience preferred.
- Broad therapeutic area experience, particularly in preferred therapeutic areas.
- Ability to pass background, motor, and drug screening.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
Regular travel, including air travel and weekend or overnight travel.
Current Territory Boundaries- North – Haverhill, MA
- South – Boston, MA
- East – Salem, MA
- West – Lowell, MA
Territory boundaries are subject to change based on business need.
Salary RangeThe annual starting salary for this position is between $88,000 and $160,000, with factors such as geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications influencing the specific amount. The role also qualifies for participation in the company’s sales incentive plan.
