A Snapshot of Your Day

The Project Development Manager leads the sales development process for large, complex modernization, upgrade, and capital equipment projects. This role is responsible for identifying and qualifying opportunities, developing customer engagement strategies, building relationships with key decision-makers, and managing the sales process from opportunity development through projecthandoff.

The ideal candidate combines technical expertise, business acumen, and relationship-building skills to drive growth in the industrial steam turbine market.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Leadthe development and execution of strategies to identify, qualify, and winlarge industrial steam turbine modernization and upgrade projects.

  • Develop compelling value propositions and business cases that address customer needs while supporting company growth and profitability objectives.

  • Managethe sales pipeline, including opportunity forecasting, reporting, and maintaining forecast accuracy.

  • Buildand strengthen customer relationships through regular engagement, while gathering and sharing market, customer, and competitive insights.

  • Collaborate with commercial, engineering, and project execution teams to ensure aseamless transition from project award through kickoff and delivery.

  • Achieve assigned sales, bookings, and revenue targets while serving as a trusted advisor to customers and managing business activities in accordance with company policies.

What You Bring
  • Bachelor’sdegree in engineering or a related technical field, with 8+ years of experience in rotating equipment, industrial equipment sales, business development, orcapital projects.

  • Strong experience with industrial steam turbines, including performance, applications,and customer requirements.

  • Proven ability to identify and develop business opportunities while managing complex,multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills.

  • Collaborative,self-motivated, and results-oriented, with the ability to work effectively across global teams and cultures.

  • Willingness to travel 50 – 75% domestically and internationally.

  • Experience with Siemens Energy industrial steam turbine products is preferred.
