Responsibilities:

Follow the Norfolk Design & Sales Process: Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience by adhering to the Norfolk design and sales process.

Collaborate with the Team: As a kitchen and bath designer, you will work closely with the showroom team and coordinate with other support teams, such as delivery, construction, and customer service.

Design, Estimate & Measure Projects: Create customized and functional designs for kitchens and baths, utilizing precise measurement skills to ensure a proper fit.

Achieve Sales and Margin Goals: Strive to meet and exceed monthly, quarterly & annual targets.

Cultivate Lasting Relationships: Build and nurture enduring relationships with homeowner and builder clients.

Attend Training and Events: Stay informed about the latest design trends and industry changes by actively participating in training sessions and events.

Requirements:

Proven success in a sales role involving face-to-face customer interactions.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Aptitude for calculations (measurements, gross profit).
Proficient with Microsoft applications including Calendar, Word, Excel and working within a shared folder setup.
Knowledge of cabinetry construction and design planning.
Proficiency in a design software such as 20/20 or AutoCAD.
Knowledge of trends & materials, color, finishes.
Clear, professional communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to effectively resolve problems from design to installation.
Ability to foster a team environment, motivate and teach.

Education and Experience:

3+ years in relationship-based sales, preferably in kitchen and bath design.
Track record of meeting sales goals and contributing to team success.
Knowledge of interior design and building materials is beneficial.

Physical Requirements:

Valid driver's license for travel to customer homes for measures.
Ability to perform physical job tasks, such as measurements.
Ability to articulate, write, and read in English. Bi-lingual a plus.
Comfortable sitting and working with PC-related tasks for extended periods for design work and CRM.
Comfortable being in construction site as needed for project work.
