About the RoleThe School Relationship Manager is a field-first role built for someone who thrives outside of the office — on campuses, in counselor offices, at parent nights, and in the community. This position is the face of our organization at the school level, responsible for deepening existing partnerships with pilot and growth schools while actively identifying and pursuing new school targets to expand our regional footprint.
Reporting directly to the Director of Partnerships in their region, the School Relationship Manager serves as the primary point of contact for their assigned school portfolio. Success in this role requires equal parts relationship-building and business development — maintaining trust with schools already in our network while consistently growing it through strategic prospecting, presentations, and community engagement.
This is a boots-on-the-ground role. If you love being in the field, building real relationships with educators and administrators, and owning a territory with genuine autonomy — this role was built for you.
This role is open to candidates who live in (or within 90 minutes of) Boston, Massachusetts.
Key Responsibilities Field Presence & School VisitsConduct regular weekly in-person visits to assigned schools within your region, building consistent face-time with counselors, administrators, and school leadership
Maintain a structured visit schedule that balances time across pilot schools, growth schools, at-risk accounts, and prospective target schools
Use every visit to deepen relationships, surface upcoming opportunities, and reinforce the value of the partnership to key school stakeholders
Document visit outcomes, action items, and relationship notes in CRM tools to ensure full visibility for your Director and internal team
Pilot School, Growth School & Portfolio ManagementServe as the dedicated point of contact for all assigned pilot and growth schools, managing each relationship from initial onboarding through full partnership maturity
Understand where each school sits in the partnership lifecycle — pilot, growth, or mature — and tailor your engagement strategy accordingly to move them forward
Proactively check in with pilot and growth school contacts to monitor engagement, address friction points, and drive toward partnership milestones and enrollment commitments
For growth schools, focus on expanding depth of engagement — increasing event participation, broadening buy-in across departments, and strengthening the school's internal advocacy for the program
Coordinate with the CSM/REC and advising teams to ensure pilot and growth schools receive seamless support and a consistent experience across all touchpoints
Track performance metrics across your full portfolio and report progress to your Director, flagging risks early and proposing solutions to keep partnerships on track
