Our client is a growing luxury B2C services company seeking an experienced Vice President of Sales to lead and continue developing its sales organization.
This executive will directly manage 3 sales managers who oversee approximately 25-30 sales representatives. The VP of Sales will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing sales leaders, improving team performance, and building the processes and infrastructure necessary to support the company's continued growth.
The position is based in the Greater Boston area and requires being in the office 4 days per week.
Compensation includes a base salary of $200,000-$250,000 with total target earnings of approximately $350,000-$400,000. There may be some flexibility in compensation for an exceptional candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Lead, coach, and develop 3 sales managers and the broader team of approximately 25-30 sales representatives.
- Own overall sales performance and drive the organization toward revenue and growth targets.
- Establish clear expectations, KPIs, and accountability throughout the sales team.
- Build and improve scalable sales processes, playbooks, and operating rhythms.
- Lead pipeline management, forecasting, performance reviews, and sales planning.
- Develop managers into stronger coaches and sales leaders.
- Identify performance gaps and implement plans to improve individual and team results.
- Oversee both new customer acquisition and customer retention efforts.
- Improve prospecting and self-generated pipeline across the organization.
- Partner with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and executive leadership on growth initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to use technology, AI, and automation to improve sales productivity.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent as the organization continues to grow.
- Help shape quotas, compensation plans, and sales incentives.
- Significant progressive sales leadership experience with a track record of leading high-performing teams.
- Experience directly managing and developing sales managers.
- Experience leading a sizable sales organization across multiple markets or territories.
- A demonstrated ability to build structure, processes, and accountability within a growing sales organization.
- Experience overseeing both new business development and customer retention or account management.
- Strong understanding of sales process, pipeline management, forecasting, KPIs, and performance management.
- Experience selling high-value services through a consultative sales process.
- Experience in luxury services, premium B2C services, or another high-touch sales environment is strongly preferred.
- Experience selling to affluent or high-net-worth consumers is a plus.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to coach, challenge, and develop experienced sales professionals.
- Comfortable working in a growing, entrepreneurial environment where processes and structure will continue to evolve.
- Some domestic travel will be required to support the sales organization, meet with clients, and attend company or industry events.
