Compensation: $150,000+ base, plus commission and incentives

The RoleOur client is seeking an experienced Commercial Lines Producer to drive new business growth across property and casualty lines. You'll identify and win middle-market and upper-middle-market commercial clients, build long-term advisory relationships, and leverage the firm's specialty practices and carrier relationships to deliver best-in-class risk management solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect, develop, and close new commercial P&C business with middle-market and larger accounts
- Build and manage a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, centers of influence, and targeted outreach
- Assess clients' risk exposures and design coverage programs across property, general liability, auto, workers' compensation, umbrella/excess, and specialty lines
- Lead marketing and placement strategy in partnership with account management and placement teams, including carrier negotiations
- Present proposals and renewal strategies to business owners, CFOs, and risk managers
- Collaborate with specialty practice groups (e.g., construction, real estate, manufacturing, transportation, executive risk) to deliver tailored solutions
- Maintain strong client relationships to drive retention and cross-sell opportunities
- Stay current on market conditions, carrier appetite, and industry trends
- 5+ years of commercial P&C production experience with a proven track record of writing new business
- Established book of business or strong network of commercial prospects
- Deep knowledge of commercial P&C coverages, markets, and underwriting
- Active P&C producer license (or ability to obtain promptly)
- Strong consultative sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and relationship-driven
- Bachelor's degree preferred; industry designations (CIC, CRM, CPCU) a plus
- Competitive base salary starting at $150,000, plus commission on new and renewal business
