Temp Non-Student Study Nurse

The Study Nurse will be part of the PROTECT/ECHO research studies based at the University of Puerto Rico, Medical Sciences Campus in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This position will recruit and manage the consent process for study participants, working to meet a weekly goal of recruitment. The Study Nurse will complete follow‑up interviews with participants, both in‑person and by telephone. They will also accurately fill out study questionnaires while interviewing participants, perform medical record data abstractions, enter data into REDCap, and collect biological samples from participants.

This will involve coordinating with laboratories and transporting biological samples.

• Degree and certification in nursing required
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Fluency in Spanish, ideally Puerto Rican Spanish, is required
• Prior experience in research studies is preferred
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate findings clearly
• Ability to move on the study area
• Availability to work weekends
