Vice President, Biomarker Science
The Company is seeking a VP of Biomarkers to join their executive leadership group. The successful candidate will be a key figure in guiding client programs, expanding commercial partnerships, and enhancing scientific capabilities. This role requires a Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline, with a minimum of 10 years of experience in biomedical or biotechnology environments, and a strong background in isotope-based metabolic tracing, biomarker analysis, mass spectrometry, and advanced analytical platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a scientific subject‑matter expert in the sales and client engagement process.
- Partner with commercial teams to support proposals and study design.
- Lead client programs from development to reporting.
- Support laboratory teams in technical challenges.
- Direct internal research initiatives.
- Identify new market opportunities.
- Lead complex scientific and client‑facing projects and contribute to commercial discussions.
- Ensure the organization aligns with market trends and client needs.
- Ph.D. in a relevant life science discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in biomedical or biotechnology environments.
- Strong background in isotope-based metabolic tracing, biomarker analysis, mass spectrometry, and advanced analytical platforms.
- Proven track record in building and maintaining long‑term relationships.
- Highly self‑motivated with excellent communication skills.
- Familiarity with lipid metabolism, protein turnover, and related assay systems.
- Experience in preclinical and clinical research programs (preferred).
