Implementing new Quantemol Software
Project:
This is a reactor scale modeling team and this project will focus on someone who can plug the gaps of the reactor model using their newly implemented Quantemol software.
Project Details:
We are seeking a skilled contractor to run Quantemol-EC software to obtain electron impact cross-sections for our chemistries (gas phase). The ideal candidate will have experience with Quantemol-EC and a strong background in computational chemistry or related fields.
Must Have
Skills:
- Proven experience with Quantemol-EC software (or similar software)
- Strong background in computational chemistry, physics, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Chemistry, Physics, or a related field.
- Previous experience in the semiconductor industry plasma modeling.
- Familiarity with electron impact cross-section calculations (R-matrix).
- Experience with DFT/MD (Discrete functional theory/Molecular Dynamics) modeling.
- Colocation with the modeling team in Austin (other areas: Fremont, Tualatin, Boston)
Day to day responsibilities:
- Operate Quantemol-EC software to generate electron impact cross-sections.
- Analyze and interpret the results (including literature validation wherever available) to support our modeling efforts.
- Collaborate with our team to integrate findings into our projects.
- Provide detailed reports and documentation of the results.
