We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Scientist III for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Boston, MA, 02115. Details of the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- Pay: $76.97/hr to start!
- 1 year assignment with the possibility of extension or conversion based on budget and performance.
- Position will mainly be responsible for developing, optimizing, and troubleshooting cell-based assays, experimental protocols, and analysis methods; designing experiments, interpreting data, and communicating findings to cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Responsibilities also include establishing and standardizing SOPs using automated liquid handling platforms (BRAVO/Apricot) to increase assay throughput, reproducibility, and operational efficiency.
- Position will also be responsible for maintaining and characterizing iPSC-derived cell populations using immunocytochemistry, plate-based assays (Quanterix, Luminex, MSD), qPCR, and other molecular biology techniques while collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.
- PhD is required!
- 5+ years’ experience is required.
- Strong in-vitro experience is required!
- iPSC experience is required.
- Experience with cell biology, and plate-based assays (Quanterix, Luminex, MSD), qPCR, basic analysis skills) is required!
- Automation experience (BRAVO/Apricot) is required.
