Objectives
  • Collaborate with GMUH‑Nephrology to develop and execute a multi‑year vision for the mezagitamab and IgAN, providing scientific support aligned with the Global Project Team (GPT) and global brand strategy. This includes incorporating cross‑functional strategies (e.g., Clinical, Commercial, Regulatory, PV, Health Economics and Outcomes, Market Access, DD&T, Regions and countries as appropriate).
  • Develop and lead the end‑to‑end, cross‑functional execution of the Global Medical strategy for assigned indications, ensuring alignment and delivery across the Medical Strategy Team (MST) and functional leads (Evidence Generation, Data Dissemination, etc.) and leveraging digital and technology‑forward initiatives as appropriate.
  • Act as a Global Medical expert and lead the development and dissemination of a clear, consistent scientific narrative, ensuring high‑quality scientific communication across internal stakeholders and external audiences in collaboration with scientific communication partners.
  • Lead Global Medical launch readiness activities, including development of scientific narrative, medical training, advisory boards, and cross‑functional alignment to support successful pre‑launch and launch execution.
  • Provide advice on medical review for global promotional and non‑promotional materials as needed.
  • Represent the company in interactions with external scientific leaders, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities.
  • Establish strategic partnerships with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other key stakeholders, including scientific organizations, in areas of scientific interest.
  • Leverage AI, machine learning algorithms and technologies to help HCP/Nephrologists in patient care.
Accountabilities
  • Develop and implement the Global Medical Affairs (GMA) strategy for defined products, aligned with the overall product strategy and regional/local strategies.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams and MST (Medical Strategy Team) members to translate strategy into actionable medical plans, ensuring clear prioritization, accountability, and timely execution, with alignment to governance processes across functions and regions.
  • Collaborate with commercial partners to ensure an aligned and medically appropriate strategy, planning, and execution.
  • Support the design and execution of clinical studies (phase IV, disease registries, epidemiological studies, outcomes surveys, etc.) in collaboration with TAU, Global Medical Evidence, GEO, and GPT as required.
  • Serve as the Global Medical representative on standing and project‑based cross‑functional teams, effectively navigating governance structures and influencing decision‑making across Clinical, Regulatory, Commercial and Market Access stakeholders.
  • Participate in the cross‑functional development of digital therapeutic evidence‑based interventions for managing chronic skin conditions. These may include interactive programs, behavioral therapy modules, and educational content.
  • Support country or regional projects as needed.
