Associate Director, HEOR & RWE

Servier in the U.S. is a Boston-based, commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company launched by Servier Group in 2018. As a privately held organization, Servier is uniquely positioned to advance cutting-edge science, tackle underserved therapeutic areas and make patients the focus of every strategic decision. Role Summary The Associate Director, HEOR/RWE (Emi-Le and Solid Tumor Pipeline), is a key member of the HEOR and Scientific Communication team within the US Medical Affairs organization.

This individual is responsible for the strategic development and execution of early evidence generation initiatives for Servier's oncology programs, including Emi-Le (e.g., ACC), DAY
301 and additional pipelines. The primary focus of this role is to identify and address unmet medical needs, access barriers, and value gaps prior to launch. The Associate Director will spearhead the development of Patient-Reported Outcome (PRO) strategies to capture the patient voice and design innovative RWE solutions, such as external control arms to contextualize clinical data from single-arm trials. Furthermore, this individual is responsible for driving launch evidence readiness, ensuring that robust health economic models, AMCP dossiers, and real-world datasets are developed in time to support successful launch.

By partnering closely with Clinical Development, Translational Science, and US Medical/Access teams, this individual ensures that the early evidence base robustly supports future value demonstration and reimbursement pathways for these high-priority pipeline assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Associate Director Strategic Leadership & Planning:
Lead the development of comprehensive evidence strategy (e.g., economic, comparative effectiveness) and operational plans for pipeline assets, with a focus on establishing early value propositions for Emi-Le (ACC). Identify and address unmet medical needs and access barriers in collaboration with cross functional teams to enable development of robust health economic and value narratives. Collaborate with clinical development teams to design and incorporate PRO measures within early-phase clinical trials, serving as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for engagements with regulatory and payer bodies.

Provide scientific support to facilitate early market access planning and preparatory payer engagements for the pipeline portfolio. Maintain an up-to-date awareness of the industry's regulatory, payer, and policy landscape, particularly regarding the use of RWE and PROs in oncology and assess its potential impact on evidence generation. Mentor junior team members and contribute to a culture of learning, integrity, and innovation within the Value, Evidence, and Communication function.
  • Evidence Generation and Impact Measurement:
Oversee the end-to-end delivery of RWE studies (e.g., database analysis, chart reviews, prospective registries) to characterize unmet needs and disease burden in niche solid tumor indications. Design and execute innovative RWE solutions, such as external control arms, to provide essential comparative context for clinical data derived from single-arm trials. Deliver "launch-ready" U.S. economic models and AMCP dossiers to optimize patient access and reimbursement ahead of commercial market entry.

Ensure all research initiatives strictly adhere to internal study governance processes, ensuring high ethical and scientific standards, including obtaining necessary internal approvals and cross-functional alignment. Work with external vendors and internal teams to design and execute pipeline oncology evidence projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery while managing budgets and CRO performance. Ensure timely measurement and communication of the external and internal impact of generated evidence to demonstrate value to the organization.

Translate research outputs into practical tools (e.g., value decks, proactive/reactive field materials) in collaboration with the scientific communications team, equipping field medical and access teams for future launches.
  • Alliance Management & Global

    Collaboration:

Coordinate with Servier Global counterparts to ensure US pipeline evidence generation strategies (e.g., PRO selection, RWE design) complement and support global value narratives. Manage the collaborative review of evidence generation plans within joint alliance frameworks to ensure consistency in the global value story for pipeline assets.
  • Communication & Stakeholder Engagement:
Lead communication with Medical Affairs and other functional leadership on planned and ongoing pipeline research initiatives, key findings, and their strategic impact. Drive pull-through and communication of evidence strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional asset and governance teams, healthcare decision-makers, and clinical practitioners. In collaboration with the Patient Advocacy team, champion the "Patient Voice" by effectively communicating the results of…
